It's officially school season again. I always have mixed feelings about it. I kind of love having a schedule, and I kind of hate it. A week before school began, I already missed my kids, although it's nice some days to have time to get something done (although Matt is still here with me). Speaking of Matt, he is really put out that he can't go to kindergarten with Gracie. He tells me every day that he's going, and every day I tell him he's not. I am so glad my kids love to go to school. I was leaving the school this morning, I watched a little kindergarten boy cling to his mother's leg, sobbing. None of my kids have ever even looked back to see me walk away! I'm so glad. And I know Matt won't, either. He's already trying to slip into the school unnoticed.

And with the school season comes football season. Andrew just loves it, so far. The first practice was a killer, and 6 kids didn't come back after it. Andrew refuses to quit anything, which is one of the reasons why he is so cool. He did, however, comment while we walked back to the car that first day, "I don't know if I'm going to sign up for this next year". I just laughed and told him it would get easier, and it has. I hope he loves it, and I think he will. If not, he looks good, anyway.
